RIP Internet Explorer
Now, most of you know that Microsoft has killed off their "beloved" Internet Explorer. According to the company, the browser will no longer be supported after 17 August 2021.
Although the 25-year-old browser was there for us when we needed it, there's no denying that using it has not been a pleasant experience for most users. So this desktop wallpaper makes a lot of sense.
When You Use The Force The Right Way
This is awesome. We have to give full credit to this person who came up with such a brilliant idea.
If you're a fan of Star Wars, you can get inspiration from this desktop wallpaper. If you think this is impressive, wait till you see other entries on our list.
Organizing A Desktop Like a Boss
We loved this one because it shows that someone with a great imagination created it. We are sure about one thing that this person must be feeling a bit bored because original ideas like this one come when you don't have anything important going on in your mind.
By the way, this was no accident because whoever did this had to "planet!"
Satisfying Desktop Wallpaper
Someone took a photo of their co-worker's desktop and isn't it amazing
One wonders how much free time that person had that they came up with this unique desktop wallpaper idea.
Choose Wisely
This person, who seems like a big fan of Matrix, came up with a desktop idea that deserves a lot of applause. What will you choose: Chrome or Firefox?
Some will go with Chrome, while others may never stop using Firefox. Or are you one of those people who use both?
Perfect View Doesn't Exist...Oh Wait
Someone shared the view from their first-year university bedroom and it’s so freaking cool. So, it is okay if we say it is Window-Ception?
And if you didn't get this pun, here's another one for you: We can see that this person is using windows.
I Want To Play A Game
So this guy asked their friend to fix the laptop and this is how they returned it. Now, this poor person can't decide which one is the real Google Chrome.
However, that is super easy to fix. Just delete all the shortcuts on the desktop and go to the start menu and select the actual program. Ta da!
What's In The Stuff Folder
We have seen tons of videos of cats behaving strangely and this one is no different. It seems like this little cutie is interested in knowing what's inside the folder.
The cat is like, “What if there are photos of beautiful and handsome male cats in there?”
Who's Been Stealing My Cookies?
It seems like the Cookie Monster has no clue why his collection of cookies is reducing with each passing day.
Although he thinks someone is stealing cookies, he has no idea that he's the one who is responsible for it.
Ideal Wallpaper For A 4 Monitor Setup
If you didn't get this one, let us help you. Well, this is Nyan Cat from a YouTube video that was uploaded in April 2011.
The video became viral as it merged a Japanese pop song with an animated cartoon cat. It became a big internet meme, so you can understand why this person came up with this bright desktop wallpaper idea.
How To Make Workplace Fun
This guy was supposed to go on a trip to Africa before the coronavirus hit and now he's been stuck at home for the past several months just waiting to get on a plane asap.
In order to make himself feel better, he decided to put a picture of his head above the background of a meerkat. Anyone that's ever worked in an office space full of cubicles knows what "meerkating" is, even if you never called it that. It's when you say something and a bunch of people standing up to look over the tops of their walls, making them look like meerkats.
Oh You Beautiful Little Boy!
This one is so funny and relatable for people who have dogs. If you don't believe us, ask any dog owner and they will tell you how accurate these two desktop wallpapers are.
Dogs are, without any doubt, the best when it comes to doing something crazy or damaging anything and then making a silly/sad face to melt their human's heart.
Stop Making Fun Of Internet Explorer!
As you know by now, Internet Explorer is going to be finished next year, and this wallpaper makes us feel bad for the poor web browser.
However, we will not disagree with this desktop wallpaper. After all, Internet Explorer used to be like crap.
Oddly Satisfying
If you want to know about the best ways to kill time, we can give you one way: set up your desktop wallpaper like this one.
Although there is nothing mind-blowing about it, it feels oddly satisfying to us. Do you feel the same way?
Miss Those Days
How many of you miss Calvin and Hobbes? This comic strip was created from November 18, 1985, to December 31, 1995.
It surely made the childhoods of many people so much memorable. By the way, it is often cited as the last great newspaper comic.
Peek-A-Boo
We admire this person's dedication to this wallpaper. They created the background for their dual monitors at work by emptying an entire desktop.
And it looks so cute as well. It just shows how you can make the best of dual monitors.
Office Space Fan
You can see that Chrome and Firefox were beating up poor Internet Explorer. And then there is the recycle bin that shows how trash internet explorer is.
By the way, this wallpaper is a reference to a famous scene from the 1999 black comedy film Office Space in which the main characters destroy a dysfunctional printer. The movie was a box office disappointment at the time but has turned into a cult classic.
That's Beary Good!
So a corporate executive handed this person his son's laptop to do some maintenance work. This guy turned on the laptop and saw this wallpaper.
Why do we have a feeling that this bear doesn't look friendly? It's not just us that thinks the bear looks super suspicious right?
When You See It
So most people may think at first that someone used their family photo as desktop wallpaper, and it is true. But there is an odd thing about it. Have you noticed it yet?

A 60 Year Old Man's Desktop
So the employee took a photo of the desktop of their boss, who happens to be a 60-year-old man, and look at what we have here. It may take a few seconds for you to realize why this desktop is unique.
It seems like men are never too old for this. We also have a strong feeling that this seems like something that Michael Scott (Steve Carell) would do.
A Never-Ending Loop
Now here is something that can be best described as trippy desktop wallpaper. Or is it a real-life matrix? Maybe we'll never know.
What we do know for sure that it looks amazing because it is super trippy. We don't even want to go into too much detail as it'll make everyone's head hurt.
Just Keep Making Fun of Internet Explorer
It is clear by now that all the other browsers and apps like to make fun of Internet Explorer. In fact, they bullied this poor browser so much that won't be with us for too much longer.
After looking at this one, all we can do is meep! Mark our words, everyone, you will secretly miss Internet Explorer once it is gone.
So That’s A Fitting End?
This person found that their son's desktop and boy is he proud of him. We have to agree that it is pretty amazing.
If you ask 100 people about their views on this desktop background, we are sure almost everyone will agree that this is how Internet Explorer should have ended years ago. But still, we have a soft spot for a browser that stayed with us for 25 years.
The Best Desktop Wallpaper
Have you watched the Japanese manga series Attack on Titan? Well, this one reminds us of that series.
The pug looks confused at seeing a cow that is way smaller than him. But then again, pugs always look confused.
Owl Desktop
Although this may seem like a bit of different wallpaper that is not totally mind-blowing, it gives us a message: That owls are wise and they choose Chrome.

How To Look Through The Desktop
This guy was sick of looking at the same old desktop screen, so he decided to look through it. That's really cool and kind of freaky as well.

Just Hang In There
This cyber clothesline is simple yet cool enough to make our list. And thank God this person didn't hang Internet Explorer there.
Imagine if they had hanged the poor Internet Explorer here, that would have been no fun for the other internet browsers, right?
More Internet Explorer Hating
Although our list contains some pretty funny bashing of Internet Explorer, we find this one the most hilarious.
This seems like a weird party. And don't ask why this picture even exists. It is funny because of the placement of Internet Explorer.
Wait What?
This person went to a party and came back home with a young lady. She seemed like a normal girl until he saw this on her desktop background. Now, all he needs to do is propose to her. After all, he found a winner.
And just so you may know, she likes the Sims and Minecraft as well. She is a super cool girl.
When An Artist Sets Up A Desktop Wallpaper
Hey, is the Mannequin Challenge still a thing? Even if it isn't, we are quite sure that it won't matter to this person.
This person who loves art sure did an excellent job of creating this artistic wallpaper. That is creative and clever.
Please Don't Miss It
We have seen scenes similar to this in movies like Skyfall and we always hope that that cocky person with the gun hilariously misses their shot, but here we feel differently. In fact, we really want the Stormtooper to hit their target..
But given that it’s a Stormtrooper, this means that Internet Explorer is perfectly safe, but we can't say the same about the other poor Stormtrooper.
Highly Impressive
This person was feeling bored at work so they decided to change the desktop of their work computer and the result is amazing.
It is cool how some people are creative with their wallpapers as most of us are too lazy to change the simple desktop wallpaper.
Aren't We All
Although the wallpaper says "I'm watching you" to the Internet Explorer, we believe that the infamous web browser is like, "I'm watching you watching me."
By the way, this "I'm watching you" is a dead meme and it shows how far we have all come in the world of memes.
Brain Eaters?
Although this person tried to go with a suitable wallpaper in which zombies are after the brains, we have a strong feeling that we'll find nothing if we open the "BRAINS" folder.
Still, it’s pretty cool to have such desktop wallpaper for the fans of zombie movies and shows.
For Fight Club Fans
Fight Club is a 1999 hit movie that has become a classic for a lot of good reasons. It is no surprise that its fan base just keeps on growing even after two decades since the movie was released.
This Fight Club wallpaper is like: The first rule of Fight Club is why the hell is there Internet Explorer?
Nice Legs
Are there any fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine here? If you love the American police procedural comedy series, then there are high chances that you love Captain Ray Holt as well.
You can hardly see a smile on his face and yet he is always so awesome. We are quite sure that this wallpaper will finally get him to crack an actual smile.
That's Cool
Hey everyone, these are the desktop wallpapers you need to have. The person who uploaded this photo wants the world to know that people who work in offices can be funny as well. What do you think about it?
And does it bug anyone else that the window is slightly off? It wouldn't even take that much to fix, either. All you have to do is just move the monitor a little bit.
A Milky Way Desktop
This creative desktop icon arrangement is highly impressive. You can call it Milky Way desktop or Milkyweb, whatever suits you.
We have a unique idea for your desktop wallpaper as well. You can go with a Black Hole.
Dieeeeee Internet Explorer
Goku has had enough of poorly supported internet browsers. Half an episode later and he'll still be shouting, "Aaaaaa die....why won't you die Internet Explorer??"
No matter how much we enjoy such wallpapers, we still have massive respect for the web browser that didn't die even after 25 years.
Points For The Artwork
Just imagine how much time this person dedicated to creating this wallpaper. $100 says the creator calls himself a "nice guy." And did anyone notice a little important detail in this wallpaper? Well, all the folders are names of different girls. This is super creepy and making us totally uncomfortable.
We can say with a lot of confidence that this person spends a lot of time glued to the computer screen.
Internet Explorer Taking Revenge
We have seen how people have treated Internet Explorer and how everyone loves to make fun of the web browser. But it seems like the browser said, "enough is enough" and now is ready to take some revenge before it dies next year. And did you notice that there's a Chrome icon at the bottom as well?
If someone played this prank, we have only one thing to say: they deserve eternal suffering for such monstrosity. We are terrified.
Not A Disorganized Desktop Anymore
It was the last day of this person's Co-Op internship and he noticed that the desktop was disorganized. So, he came up with a creative idea.
Now, the boss is upset with him because of the way this guy decided to spend his last hours of internship.

By the way, we really like the style of this person. It is one effective way to be to keep the brain uncluttered.
That's Pretty Close
So this person started his class and found this on the desktop. Someone must have a lot of free time in the previous class that they came up with this idea.
If you are a fan of Miley Cyrus, you will have no option but to show your love for this wallpaper.
"I Think He's Looking At Me"
This person is a fan of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and we find this work impressive.
By the way, do watch the sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, this scene is from the episode The Gang Dines Out. You'd love it!
