The Vice President
It's important to be an equal opportunity employer because everyone deserves a chance to shine. Just look at this senior employee. He is 15 in human years, which is about 76 in dog years; he has no teeth and can barely see or hear, but that doesn't make him any less useful as the vice president of miscellaneous stuff where he works. He sports his casual Friday clothes and is ready at a moment's notice.
Looking proud and simply eager to help, this little lad is the most popular employee where he works, getting all the hi's and smiles from his coworkers. It just goes to show age is just a number.
Employee of the Month
One of the reasons this pup is the employee of the month is because he is just happy and smiling every day when he shows up to assist customers. Customers really enjoy his pleasant demeanor, and he is always ready with his handy Home Depot apron filled with tools ready for any job, big or small. Who wouldn't want this fellow leading the way to the 2x4s or the electrical aisle?
Home Depot is known for highering seniors (both human and not), and even though this furry friend is going gray, he still has plenty of spunk left in him. He gives every customer the attention they deserve.
Train Spotting
It's better to get a look from this passenger than anyone else. But it's pretty hard to tell what this doggie wants. Is he begging whoever's on the other side of the camera for a bite of something delicious? Or is he just thinking, "What's the matter with you?" Either way, he's definitely an observant one, and we don't mind. With those puppy dog eyes and wrinkled eyebrows, he's as cute as it gets.
Considering some passengers are pushy and rude, this guy has all the right moves, casually leaning over and giving a stare. He's not barking or getting in your face, yet he still means business.
The Cutest, Tiniest Little Thing
When it comes to little precious things, this little puppy blu is the reason why dogs are man's best friend. She is just a tiny piece of cuddly heaven perched on her owners' shoe, waiting for his next move. Wherever he goes, she will follow. She's adorably tiny and super patient, making her like the best puppy in the world with those gazing brown eyes. We bet she gives the best kisses too.
The owner should check on her often and make sure no one steals her for themselves. Who wouldn't want to take home this little gem?
Petting Dogs Is Therapeutic
There is clinical proof that petting a dog will lower your blood pressure and give the person petting a more relaxed mood. This two-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Blue also gets relaxed when being petted. She's so happy to get some loving that she smiles ear to ear. Look at her face, pure pleasure, and she loves the attention. She has the kindest eyes, and there's no mistaking she's a good girl.
She looks so yummy you just want to kiss that beautiful face of hers right through the picture. This may be a photo, but it's projecting good mood vibes right through the screen.
Love Is Blind
Dewey is a 6-year-old blind bundle of love that lives a full life thanks to his wonderful parents. Look at him, enjoying life; he's at the beach, taking in all the smells and sounds the beach has to offer. Look how happy he is! And it doesn't seem to bother him one bit that his eyes don't work because he's enjoying life in other ways. He may experience his surroundings differently, but he's definitely living to the fullest.
Dewey should be a shining example to everyone that being different adds flavor to life and shouldn't stop you from being your best self.
Best Job Ever
This Saint Bernard has the best job ever-- to make senior citizens happy. What's better than that? He gets lots of attention, tons of petting, and he brings smiles to everyone around him in assisted living homes. Just look at Jim smiling and enjoying this big guy, even if it's for a short time. This furry friend may be large in size, but it's his big heart that wins over the residents like Jim.
Sure he probably sheds all over the place and maybe even drools, too, but his warm, kind face with those droopy eyes make everyone who sees him fall in love.
Mommy's Got You
When a child is afraid of something, they usually run to their mommy, so why should it be any different for the four-legged child too. This girl was too scared to take the escalator, so her mommy carried her. As shown by the fear all over her face during the ride, she was still afraid, but she did it securely in her mommys' arms. It's a mother's job to protect their babies.
This girl can barely look at the escalator while taking the ride, so she's just going to hold on to mommy extra tight cause getting eaten up by the escalator is not an option.
Stop in the Name of Love
Cooper, whose cuteness factor is through the roof (like most puppies), stopped to strike a pose. Just look at that face; it seems bigger than his body! And he even has a bell on his collar so he won't get lost when at home. You have to hand it to the blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed, as they really do melt people's hearts at any age. A hunk of love.
He has game, that's for sure. Standing on two legs with a stare that commands attention, Cooper knows he has the goods to make people stop, even without the hand in his face.
The Best Shopping Assistant
This soft, fluffy grocery cart companion is so perfect chilling next to the milk that passersby forget what they need at the store once they lay their eyes on him. He is hypnotizing with all that cuddlesome puppy fur in a speckled design. They should name him Patches of Divine Cuteness. Being this cute must be hard work because he looks tuckered out from all the attention. He's probably ready for a nap.
Puppies were made to be enticing, and this little guy is more appealing than anything the grocery store has to offer. Too bad he's not on sale cause he's priceless.
Boys Will Be Boys
Mothers already have a hard enough time getting the kids to listen. And on top of that, this dog clearly wants to go for a joy ride. Can you imagine what she's telling him right now? "You get down this minute, or we're not going anywhere! Do you hear me?" That's what we imagine. Nope, he doesn't care. He wants to go for a ride and stick his head out of the sunroof.
And look at the pure bliss on his face anticipating the wind rushing through his fur and gaping mouth. "Oh, what a sweet ride it will be if mom lets me stay."
A Stork Delivery
Oh, the joy of seeing a swaddled puppy in a basket. So you can imagine our happiness when we found not one but eight puppies swaddled in a basket. It's like they are all bundled up for delivery by the stork, who's making sure they won't get cold on the journey. They are so precious, peeking out of their blankets as if giving you a teaser of the complete package.
They are packed well for the trip wherever they may be going, probably to the vet for their check-up and shots. At five weeks old, they are just like newborn babies and just as cute, too.
She's Got the Moves
This Afghan Hound looks like she knows how beautiful she is as she struts her stuff, her long hair swishing back and forth. The crosswalk is her catwalk, and she's smiling and waving all the way down 5th Ave. While her owner is just walking with his earbuds in tuning out the world, she has that look that says, "Look at me, look at me, I'm beautiful." And she's right!
It's definitely the hair that makes her simply irresistible because if she were shaved down, she'd be all skin and bones. It ought to be a crime to cut Afghan hair.
Pharmacist in Training
This puppy is so perfectly perched on the stool, not moving a muscle, that a quick glance would make you think it's a stuffed animal. But she's actually a pharmacist in training waiting to help the next customer in line. All decked out in her work attire, eager to fill your prescription. Take two doses of adorable twice a day and one shot of lovable before bedtime; it's good for your soul.
If her prescription isn't enough, she'll direct you to the nearest animal shelter for your very own lifetime supply of adorable, loveable packages. Everyone needs a constant dose of unconditional love.
Window Display Not for Sale
Warning: window shopping only; living items are not for sale. Now that we've clarified that, meet Bee the Basset Hound, this store's main marketing campaign. She's luring customers in to buy fine jewelry with those seductive eyes. And we bet the sale technique works because who can resist a doggie lounging in a window display? We certainly can't; we'd run into that store as soon as we spotted Bee.
Bee works long hours and looks like she's ready to nap on the job, which is exactly how she gets clients in her line of work. Don't be fooled - it's a strategic marketing plan.
Peek-A-Boo I See You
These two curious fellas are checking out the neighbors' yard and want to see if anyone wants to come out to play. These guys' eyes are bursting with excitement, and we bet they have a lot to say. We imagine if this duo could speak, they'd say something like, "Peek-a-boo, I see you! So you want to play? What're you doing over there? Need a paw or four to dig up the yard? Well, we are here at your service anytime you need us."
And if no help is needed, they would gladly like a scratch behind the ears. Or a little game of fetch. Whatever is being offered will do.
Belly Rubs Anytime, Anywhere
This is Sonja, and while we can't tell if she is throwing a tantrum, taking a nap, or demanding belly rubs, one thing's for sure: she stole our hearts. The epitome of the term lapdog, Sonja has assumed the position and is waiting for a rub down. And she doesn't care where they are because her daddy can give rubs and eat lunch simultaneously. From the looks of it, she has the play-dead trick down, too.
She also serves as a lap warmer and napkin for any crumbs that fall, for she can quickly suck them up like a vacuum cleaner.
Best Friends Forever
Who says dogs and cats don't get along? Sabastian, the newest family member, seems to have found the one, and she happens to be a cat. She is tolerating him and looks slightly annoyed, but she holds steady and indulges him for the moment. Just look at Sabastian's puppy eyes and the way he's hugging her; it's clear he's fallen in love. It's like he said, "I'll take this one; she's a beauty."
Maybe it will be a love-hate thing where he will pine over her, and she will give him a scratch or two to straighten him out when he gets out of hand.
Taking a Ride on the Doggie Lift
If a family member couldn't walk up the stairs anymore, chances are you would install a chair lift to assist them with their new life challenges. This is precisely what this man did for his dog (and family member) Gunner, who recently had knee surgery and couldn't make the trek up the stairs. This is both heartwarming and absolutely awesome. This duo has each other's backs; talk about love and loyalty.
They say dogs are loyal to a fault, but it shouldn't be a bad thing. Gunners' dad is dedicated too, and more people should be like them, always sticking by each other even in tough times.
We Can Feel the Love
This lovely duo is head over heels for each other. You can see this little Chihuahua's love for its owner, and the owner is just as in love, and why shouldn't he be? It's like having a pint-size bundle of joy that can travel with you anywhere, even on the bus. They look like they are whispering affections to each other, and the chihuahua is mesmerized by its owner.
Sights like these remind us that all creatures, big or small, have huge hearts and plenty of love to spread around. Having a pet will prolong your life and help prevent loneliness. You see, why don't you?
The Doctor Will See You Now
Chance is a Great Dane therapy dog that visits hospitals to help patients that are having a hard time. He's 4'11" tall, weighs 145 pounds, and is the best therapist we ever met. His sheer size commands a moment of your time and talk about being simply adorable. Who wouldn't want to tell him their problems? Just hang with him for a while; he'll listen to what you have to say.
After you have spilled your beans, he'll give you a lick and some puppy dog eyes to make you forget your problems for a while. You could also just stare at him with wonder and joy.
What You Looking at
Arnold has been around the block more times than you can imagine. At 17 years old, he can teach you a thing or two. All gray and eyes are slightly popping out; you can see he has life and personality still in him. One ear cocked up on high alert while the other is flopping, showing his character hasn't changed over the years. He has that look, "You talking to me?" on his face.
Arnold may not be a spring chicken anymore, but that doesn't mean he's all out of love. He's still chatting people up on the street and letting everyone know old age is beautiful too.
So Much to Do, so Little Time
This Corgi puppy is on the move, eager to greet anyone in the close vicinity, and happy to be on the go. Where she goes, no one knows, but she's going. Look at that smile and those ears, who wouldn't want to play with this pup. If you were having a bad day and stumbled upon her, she would surely put a smile on your face. And-- isn't that the purpose.
With shorter legs than the last Chihuahua Arnold, she needs to move to double-time just to keep up. No wonder she looks like she's in a race-- she has lots of ground to make up.
Best Wedding Crashers Ever
Freya and Bruno were on a hike with their owner and saw this lovely couple taking wedding photos; they were just married, and Freya thought they needed some wedding party pics, so she gladly joined in. Telling Bruno to get his butt in the photos, too, they made the couple's pictures even better than before. Sometimes dogs know what we need even when we don't know ourselves. Nice job, Freya.
We think Freya and Bruno are wedding photo-worthy, just like the couple. Now the newlyweds have a great story to go with their mountain top wedding. Here's to the Best wedding crashers ever.
A Very Special Carry-On Luggage
How awesome are this guy and his dog? We think he's pretty damn impressive taking his dog on a flight in his backpack. This beautiful collie is most definitely too big to fit under an airplane seat in a carry-on crate, but this guy is going for it anyway. Maybe he'll be like a toddler that gets to sit on his lap for the entire flight. Such a good boy that he should be allowed just for that alone.
We really hope he got to fly with his dad, and will you just look at that face-- who can say no to him? We certainly can't! Best passenger ever!
That Neighbor Who's Always Watching
The almighty and wise German Shepard. Come to his window perch for the wisdom of life, for he will answer your questions and mesmerize you too. He looks like this is his place of business, where people line up for the answers to life's great mysteries. Aside from being simply stunning, he also has a Lion King presence about him. We shall call him Mufasa, and he will lead us through the circle of life.
When you look into his eyes, there is a great bounty of wisdom behind them-- now, if he could only talk, we would surely listen and gaze into those brown beauties for hours.
I'm Down Here!
How cute is this? Someone planted a puppy, and he's starting to come up. Well, something like that. The hole in the fence helps this guy greet passersby, and it's an odd scenario, but really cool too. He's super cute and loves his secret look-out spot. No one ever thinks to look there, and he manages to surprise many folks walking by. Maybe he's barking; perhaps he's calling out, "Here I am, down here."
He practically blends into the fence, and if he doesn't make a sound, you wouldn't even know he's there. He's like a dog flower catching some sunshine, and we love it.
An Oversized LapDog
Teddy, a two-year-old Saint Bernard, mistakenly thinks he's a lapdog. No one has the heart to tell him that at 182 pounds, he's surpassed the parameters for being a lapdog. It doesn't matter much to his human, though, because Teddy is literally a giant teddy bear. He is one hunk of handsome, and he will definitely be turning heads when out in public. He is better than any down comforter you could possibly own for cold nights.
We are in love with him, as should you be, for a dog so huge is just a cuddly, gentle giant who wants to be loved: a forever huggable teddy, Teddy.
Jackson Reporting For Duty
This is Jackson, reporting for duty, and scouts honor he will do his best. Look at that face, completely at attention, ready for work with his plaid bandana. He almost looks like a stuffed animal, but this Austrian Shepard puppy is checking into the office today to help out. His true calling is to herd livestock, so if he starts to round up the employees to get them in line, he's doing his job.
He may be a puppy with all that silky soft fur and that adorable face you just want to scoop up and snuggle with, so don't get offended if he starts to circle you and bark orders.
Adoption Day Hooray
Nelly Gnu was adopted, and will you look at that grateful grin she has. Overjoyed to be wanted and loved, she just keeps on smiling, showing her appreciation for someone wanting her. They picked her out of all the dogs in the shelter. She may not be a puppy or the youngest of dogs, but she still has plenty of love to give and receive. She deserves it, too.
She promises to be loyal and always happy to have a forever home. She was one of the lucky ones, as some dogs never make it to a forever home.
Baby, It's Cold Outside
What better way to keep yourself warm and your little companion than to share a coat together? If you can fit him in the coat like this guy was able to, then no problem; it's a win-win for everyone. You almost can't even see him peeking out, and if it weren't for the guy's hand on the phone, he would look like one of the shrunken head people from the movie Beetlejuice.
This is one of the pleasures of having a small dog, as they can go anywhere with you and even fit in your jacket. He won't keep you warm, but that's alright; you can do that for him.
They're the Same but Different
How many cows are in this picture? At a quick glance, you might say two, but if you look closer, this cow has a matching dog friend that could pass for his sibling. One baby cow and one English Bulldog hanging out together. They look so much alike they probably think they're related, and from the looks of them, they are pretty happy together. They'll be friends for life now since they bonded.
We hope the calf doesn't want to sleep in the house with his best friend; maybe the doggie can shack up with the baby in the barn until he's old enough to sleep alone.
Have Dog, Will Travel
Duck is nine weeks old and just cuteness popping out of his carrier. Get a load of that happy face; he's just showing off how adorable he is to the crowd of people oohing and ahhing over him. His mommy is telling him to open wide and show off those sharp puppy teeth. Someday those teeth and strong jaw will intimidate people, but until then, those teeth are as cute as the rest of him.
It won't be long before he doesn't fit in the carry-on anymore. Instead, he'll be strutting down the street as proud as can be of his beautiful coat of hair and awesome smile.
Making Sure Mom Doesn't Get Robbed
This poodle has the life, no need for her to walk when she has a ride. Like a toddler in a travel backpack, this little lady is seeing all the sights and making friends on the way. That's right; she's saying hi to all the passersby without her mommy knowing. She knows she's not supposed to talk to strangers, but what mom doesn't know can't hurt her. Right? Well, until she gets caught.
With a huge smile and her paw waving away, she's having a blast. Let's just hope no one tries to snatch her up since she's so friendly, because mama bear won't take kindly to that.
Once Lost and Now Found
Afraid of a severe rainstorm, he had run off from his owner and started to follow someone else who had a dog. Knowing that dog people are good peeps, the kind person took him in until he could take him to the vet and check to see if he was microchipped. He was just the sweetest little boy and so scared to be lost that he had run off twice but luckily came back a second time.
Upon returning to the building that found him, he was taken to the vet, and alas, he had a microchip and was reunited with his owner, who was overjoyed to have him home safe and sound. Our hearts melt for a happy ending.
Who Said These Bags Are Just for Cats
You may think this is a cat napping in the travel case, but no, it's a sweet, cuddly dog snoozing while he travels through the Atlanta Airport. He looks like he's on display for all to see his cuteness, but he has the best window seat when he is awake. Just look at those little paws all snuggled together, and it's a good thing he isn't claustrophobic, like some of us.
It must be pretty comfortable in that travel backpack since he's sound asleep. If only we could sleep that well when traveling through the airport and on the plane. Well, we can wish.
This Goldendoodle's Got the Moves
Max is a three-month-old Goldendoodle that will break out in dance if you want to say hi to him. Soft, furry, and absolutely darling, he is the newest edition to the neighborhood and a real crowd-pleaser. His fur is so soft you can practically feel it just by looking at this pic. He's full of life and loves to wiggle, mostly cause he can't contain the excitement of cruising the neighborhood.
For anyone allergic to animal hair, this guy is right up your alley; his hair is human-like and won't make you have watery eyes and sneeze up a storm. So go ahead and bring a Max home too.
When Names Are Deceiving
When you think of a moose, you think of a large wild animal that can total a car if you accidentally hit one. You don't think of the tiniest puppy with the biggest name. Moose is the biggest tiny puppy you'll ever meet. He has doe eyes, peach fuzz hair with the shortest legs, and a button nose. He's more like a pocket moose since he can fit in someone's pocket.
The biggest thing about Moose is the huge loveability factor that he has going for him. Once you lay eyes on him, that's it; you're in love as we are.
He Wanted a Beer, Too
This fellow was spotted outside a brewery, clearly trying to get a fresh cold beer. He's so excited he'll take a funnel and chug a whole barrel in the blink of an eye. Look at him, mouth wide open, as if saying, "Insert here, I'm ready." He sure looks like he can handle his liquor better than most of us. He's no small dude and can probably drink you under the table, literally.
We hope someone hooked him up with at least a taste since he's waiting so patiently for a cold one. Wouldn't you at least give him a free one for his cuteness?
A Supermodel in the Wild
This girl is on fire with those awe-inspiring rastas. She knows she's got the look, and she is sure flaunting it too. Swish goes that hair, and that's a hair-do that needs maintaining, so she must love going to the doggie salon and getting pampered. Talk about a high-maintenance lady; she definitely fits the bill. She is beautiful, and we're grateful we don't have to care for her because a second income would be needed just for her.
Since she likes to strike a pose, maybe she pays her own doggie bills with a modeling gig on the side because beauty like this doesn't come cheap, but she's worth it.
