Why Work For A Clown?
Burger King is one of the most well-known burger franchises in the world, and they have certainly had to get creative to create engaging and hilarious signs.
By the looks of it, someone was definitely inspired when they created this sign. Very blatantly, they showed how proud they are to work for a "king" rather than a worker for their competitor, "the clown."
Someone Needs To Date This Person
The dating world is a hard one. And though it may sound ironic, with an increasing number of apps and platforms out there developed to "help us" date, things have only gotten harder.
So this person decided to use a sign to not only share the lamest joke out there but to also share their desperation to find someone to date.
A Direct Message To Abby
It seems like Abby didn't show up to work for a while, so the management of DQ decided to send a little direct message to her.
Instead of calling her and trying to get ahold of her, they decided to do something a little bit bolder. Instead, they used the restaurant's sign to try to get her attention. Hopefully, they managed.
Try Our New... Junk
Well, that's certainly a way to put it. While many people would agree that McDonald's food is not necessarily the best thing in the world, others would completely swear by their yummy burgers and fries.
But either someone made an innocent mistake with this sign, or they really wanted to share their thoughts about the wonderful food chain.
Right To The Point
Sonic, also known as Sonic Drive-In, is one of the most well-known American fast-food restaurant chains. Now they have been around for a while, so it's no surprise that they have to come up with engaging ads and signs to keep their customers entertained.
By the looks of this sign, it seems like they found a hilarious poet for the job.
Pumpkin Spice Tacos
Now here's a hilarious way that Taco Bell found to make fun of the pumpkin spice craze that usually comes around during the fall season.
Seriously, pumpkin-related things have become so popular that when this Taco Bell branch made this message some people actually took it seriously. Good for them for making a joke out of it though.
No One Ever Reads This Sign
There is no doubt that some food chains find the most hilarious ways to get people's attention. And there is no doubt that this sign did exactly that since it's almost impossible that no one usually reads that side anyway.
The result was that people were left craving for more information. To their defense though, the place is incredibly empty.
Tell Your Friends About The Soup
Once you read this sign it's probably really hard to take away the rhythm of the song in the back of your head. You know, the "guess who's the back" song!
So we have to say that the advertisement here is some kind of brilliant since many of us were probably left wondering where we could find this wonderful soup out there.
There Is Some Logic In There
If you or someone you know is vegan, vegetarian, or plant-based in general, then you probably know that the jokes are constant.
People love making their point when it comes to your meat and plant-based choices, so obviously, someone had to do it in the form of a fast-food sign. And though the joke is cringy, it might be a bit funny.
Wendy's Secret Ingredient
Something about Wendy's logo and the way they said that their secret ingredient "is their people" makes this entire thing super creepy as soon as you read and process it.
It seems like they either didn't realize it, or they brilliantly made it seem like they "use" their people in their meals, resulting in new workers needed to be hired as soon as possible.
You Better Buy Those Doughnuts
Someone was willing to go all the way to convince people to buy doughnuts, otherwise, things were clearly going to escalate quickly and they surely made it very clear.
According to this hilarious Dunkin' Doughnuts sign, if a person chose not to buy those doughnuts, something really terrible was going to happen to their kitten so they should hurry up.
Hiring But Not Rehiring
Subway is another food chain that has gained enormous popularity in tons of countries around the world. People from every part of the planet love the huge and yummy sandwiches.
And clearly, they need some new workers, but they want to make sure that their previous workers know that the vacancy most definitely does not include them. Hopefully, they'll succeed with this one.
Daddy Wants Cake
Another time that DQ was willing to go all in to get people's attention with their hilarious sign. Apparently, "daddy wanted cake," and therefore everyone should get their stuff and head to their local DQ to fulfill "daddy's wish."
Whatever that actually means, it certainly makes for a good piece of advertisement, so we're thinking that they got a few new customers that day.
We Are Beef
Well, at least we all know that they are still beef and that somehow warms our hearts a little bit. But seriously, jokes aside, the current global pandemic has had terrible consequences in the restaurant industry.
We can only imagine how people are trying to make it out of it alive, so props to the people of this restaurant for their sense of humor.
Just A Bucket Of KFC
Did you ever come across a fast-food sign that completely cracked you up? Or maybe you were lucky enough to be the one creating it?
Either way, something about this "bucket" KFC sign is so simple and memorable that it had to make it to our selected list. And of course, just try to think about what "bucket" rhymes with.
Chicken Served With No Hate
And KFC strikes again with one of their hilarious signs. For some reason, it seemed to be an important detail that this KFC restaurant's chicken is served deliciously and with absolutely no hate.
We wonder if anyone ever thought there was a possibility that the hate would be there, but we are guessing that they mist have had a good reason to include it in the slogan.
Too Late Now
Now here's a hilarious way to make people wonder what the entire point of this sign was. Sure, it seems like the day before had some sort of promotion that involved free tacos, but why share it when it's too late and irrelevant anyway?
We're pretty sure they managed to get people's attention every time someone read the sign, but still, what was the point?
For All The Losers Out There
We're not sure whether this is a joke or Taco Bell actually meant it, what we do know, is that this sign definitely came out absolutely hilarious.
It also brings us to question how the people who already work at Taco Bell feel when they read this sign, do they wonder if they're included in the losers' group, or only the newbies are considered losers?
Now Hiring Some Coffee
This one seems to have been an unfortunate coincidence, and not necessarily something that someone purposely put together.
It seems like this Dunkin Donuts branch was also hiring when someone put together the "now hiring" sign with the coffee promotion that was taking place at the same time, making it a weird sign that most probably made no sense to anyone who read it.
Some More Pumpkin
It seems like Dunkin' Doughnuts really likes to make use of their signs to create some hilarious jokes for the people who are passing by the restaurant.
This one decided to bring up the pumpkin spice situation again since some people and some places have gone to crazy extents when it comes to including pumpkin in their drinks and desserts.
Straight To The Point
Sometimes you just want to go straight to the point, and this Church's Chicken branch surely did so. It was either an error or someone who actually loves some LSD and was put in charge of this sign.
The result? A huge random sign with tons of space for a smart piece of advertisement that ended up only with the words "LSD."
Oh Dear!
This Flying Pie Pizzeria located in Boise, Idaho, certainly decided to put it all out there.
And apparently, this particular branch is known to add some quirky signs on a regular basis. One of them includes having "name days," where the sign has a random first name, and if a customer is able to prove that that's their first name, they get a free pizza.
Wow, Come In
Here goes another wonderful sign from one of our favorite fast food branches in the world, the one and only McDonald's!
And this time, the person wasn't really looking forward to using their creativity, so they just wrote whatever came first to their mind. And that seems to have literally been the words: "Wow, come in," so that's exactly what they left written there.
Oh No!
Oh no, you didn't, McDonald's. We really want to believe that someone made a terrible mistake, or they decided to create a pretty disgusting joke.
The branch was clearly hiring, but the rest of the words in the sign didn't really make sense. They made enough sense to get tons of people's attention though, but we're not sure they'll manage to hire anyone.
Totally Worth It
Oh, this one came out so cringy, my goodness! This Arby's place decided to play around with their new sign, and it seems like someone ended up having too much fun with it.
Hopefully, everyone will take it as a joke and won't get too offended by how explicit the sign came out to be - if you know what we mean.
Hiring Managers
Here's an interesting way of getting everyone's attention. This Burger King started their recruitment process for new managers, so they tried to attract a few candidates in a hilarious way. After all, it's not always that easy to hire new people who are talented and hard-working.
Instead of sharing just another sign, they mentioned that Spongebob was actually there, and we're sure that tactic worked!
Stop In And Relieve Yourself
The McDonald's crew of this particular branch came out with a hilarious way of inviting people in. Don't want to buy a burger and fries? Not interested in a Mcflurry?
No problem, just hop in for a nice session in the McDonald's toilet and they might be able to convince you to stay. Nothing like a poop joke to get some people's attention.
What Does It Mean?
Whatever they were trying to say at Chester Fried that day, they totally failed at it. Unless this sign has some sort of cryptic message that regular customers will easily be able to decipher, and we totally missed the point.
One thing's for sure, a bunch of people was probably left wondering how they could find out the real meaning of it.
That's An Expensive Combo
This Arby's branch did something really weird in their advertising. Instead of convincing customers to come in, we're pretty sure that no one is willing to pay $500 for a flatbread combo, no matter how affordable that combo may be.
Though we are almost certain that the sign was a mistake, there is no doubt that it made a hilarious mistake for everyone.
Hot Breakfast Is Key
There is nothing like a delicious plate of hot breakfast. In fact, this Days Inn sign surely touched all important points in life when they decided to make a sign referencing the importance of a good breakfast.
According to them, no one ever forgets a good and yummy hot breakfast plate, and they could certainly find one at Days Inn.
Wait What?
There are so many things to unpack in this picture that we don't even know where to start. First things first, this McDonald's is basically telling us that they serve many more planets than planet earth because 99 billion people is a lot of people.
And then the man dressing in the salad? Nah, man, that's just creepy so we're going to give it a hard no.
No More Meet
So this hilarious sign was for sure an honest mistake. We bet that the Taco Bell employee who was responsible for it didn't really plan to misspell the word "meat" and to create this strangely funny sign.
One thing's for sure though, at least their customers don't need to waste time trying to go to a place that is clearly closed.
Pee Doughnuts Are The Best
Yum, nothing like some great advertisement for a couple of yummy doughnuts made of pee to get people to buy tons of them.
Again, this was either a very risky joke, or someone made another honest mistake that ended up becoming a total joke in town. At least they got some very well-deserved attention for it, it's not every day that we hear about pee doughnuts after all.
In Case You Want Some Fish
This Wendy's branch found a very interesting way of announcing the fact that they had fish on the menu that day.
They decided to use some creative ways of phrasing it, and it ended up coming out in the form of this sentence: "we do got fish." Whatever that means, they sure managed to get the message across, and whoever wants fish knows where to find it.
Just Give It A Try
They say that sometimes it's better to just say things as straight to the point as possible, no need to go around and around saying the same thing.
This Burger King joint certainly did so when they decided to invite customers to try their yummy meals by simply telling them to "try." No need for more words, just try and see it for yourself.
The Least Number Of Words Possible
Another burger joint's decision to take the short number of words route. Instead of writing a convincing slogan, Mr. Burger decided to simply claim that the place they were looking for was right there, no need to look any further.
Hopefully, it worked, but if it didn't, at least people got to have a really good laugh when they read what was in it.
A Gendered Piece Of Chicken
Now here's another sign that is incredibly hard to decipher. We have no idea if Wendy's really meant to share this as a joke, or someone out there made a mistake.
All we know is that their sign actually gendered their chicken, and pointed towards the fact that people have to try their "girl chicken", yikes, now that's just way too creepy!
Some Sloppy Service
Hmm, how on earth is this White Castle branch planning to give out their 99% sloppy service? This was for sure a hilarious joke that they decide to make, we just hope that people understand it and don't take it as a given.
Anyhow, at least they were clever enough to give customers the hope that 1% of it may not be sloppy.
Need HeavySet Consumers
Well, that's an interesting way of saying that they need a very particular type of consumer, and we're not sure that it isn't a little bit offensive.
The good thing about this particular Wendy's branch is that they decided to play with their words a bit, and weren't as direct as some other branches. So hopefully when people read it they don't really take it to heart.
Another Restaurant Hiring Losers
It seems like fast-food restaurants looking to hire losers, or in this case, "full-time losers" is much more common than we thought.
And it's not as if they try to hide it from anyone, they clearly own it and even write it loud and clear in a huge sign like this one. Good for them for owning it, but poor workers!
