However, we can all come together and laugh at our everyday struggles, like dealing with personal space issues or learning how to cook for ourselves. UK-based artist Alex Norris made these "Oh No" comic strips to show his awkward take on life's most honest struggles, and makes them so relatable. Prepare to laugh and cry because these adult struggles hit close to home.
1. When You Say It's Just One More Episode
When you get into bed at night, it might seem like a good idea to hit that "next episode" button, but that's where we have all gone wrong. The next thing you know, it's four in the morning, and you have binged two seasons of a show.
If you haven't been in this situation, you probably have incredible willpower, but we can't say the same. It's like there is something inside all of us that just has to know what is going to happen, and we can't wait till the next day to find out.
2. When You Feel Cute For Half A Second
Nothing is better than waking up in the morning with a feeling of confidence. You give yourself an extra once-over in the mirror and say, "Dayum, I look good today." However, the second we sit down, that feeling quickly disappears.
Have you ever had one of those outfits that you deemed a "standing-only outfit?" It looks perfect from the front, but it is not going to work from any other angle. Don't worry; you are not alone in that because we have all felt those moments where we lose a little confidence.

Anyone who uses makeup will understand the struggle of putting on eyeliner. You start with one side, and it's perfect, then the second eye is a little thicker, so you have to even them out, and after a few "fixes, " you end up looking like a panda.

Maybe we just take our personal space very seriously, but others should know to leave a little room between themselves and others. We have been thriving during the pandemic because people have to stay six feet away from us, and it just makes life so much better.
5. When You Haven't Done Anything In Weeks
It looks like we aren't the only people who sit at home doing nothing. We could share our life experiences, but based on the past few weeks, we don't have any besides watching Netflix. They said nothing is impossible, but we do nothing almost every day.
Do you like to keep a journal? We have tried many times, and after a day or two, we miss one day and then never write in it again. You have probably felt the same way over the past year because we have all been bored out of our minds stuck at home.
6. When You Forget To Budget Your Travels
Traveling can be amazing, but not everything goes as planned. No matter where you go, something will go wrong, and you have to adapt to the bumps along the way. Sometimes it feels like everything is going wrong, but it is all a learning experience.
For the "Oh no" man, no matter what country he went to, his plans were turned upside down until he ended up in jail. However, did you really have a good trip if someone doesn't end up getting arrested? We guess the takeaway is to budget your trip well and prepare for things to be closed.
7. Success Doesn't Come Without Effort
When you realize how much hard work it takes to be successful, so you take a nap and try again tomorrow. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to become successful without putting in any effort, and it is an uphill battle to reach your goals, but when you get there, it's worth it.
Some people don't want to work that hard, but those who do, realize how rewarding the climb was. There are rare times when success is more of a flat slope for some people, but it probably feels like more of a pay-off when you have to fight for it.
8. When Your Office Decides To Do Secret Santa
When someone suggests doing secret Santa at your office, there is always a little bit of fear that you will pick someone's name who you never talk to or don't like. Then you have to think of a gift for them that shows you slightly put some effort and didn't just pick up a gift card from the store.
It's even worse when you see people getting useful presents, and then you open yours and realize you were picked by someone who considers you as the weirdo they never talk to. It's always a struggle when you work in a big company, but remember to smile at everyone because they might be your secret Santa.
9. The Movie Never Does The Book Justice
When you read a book before the movie comes out, you always have this vision of what the characters will look like and how it will live up to your imagination, and then the adaptation is completely different. In some cases, producers do the book justice, but most of the time, the book is always better.
Why do they have to make the movies so much different from the books. We understand that they can't fit in every single detail because the film would be too long, but they change certain things that are so far-off from the book and make no sense.
10. Phones Are Great Until They Need To Be Charged
Smartphones are so helpful because you can do almost anything from this small thing that fits in your pocket, but it is useless when it runs out of battery within a few hours. You have probably been in the situation where you are out, don't have a place to charge your phone, and it dies when you need it the most.
If only an iPhone could breed with a Nokia brick, the most unbreakable phone in the world. If that were possible, the iPhone would be unstoppable, but no one would ever buy new ones because they would never need to replace their dying batteries or cracked screens.
11. "The Book Ended And So Did My Life"
Have you ever read a book where you got so attached to the characters and their story that you don't really know what to do with yourself when the book ends? It is even worse when you finish a series of books because you invested so much reading time, and then it almost seems impossible to continue life without the story.
If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you will remember how empty you probably felt after reading the final book. You can re-read these stories over and over again, but it never fills that void of wondering what happened to the characters after the book ended. Do their lives continue in this imaginary world? We may never know.
12. Don't Make Eye Contact On Public Transportation
When riding public transportation, it is hard not to make eye contact with people, and when you do lock eyes, it's hard to look away without feeling awkward. Inside you are silently praying, "Please don't talk to me, please don't talk to me."
Some people understand that no one wants to talk to a stranger early in the morning or after a long day of work, but others can't take a hint. Everyone is just trying to get to where they need to go, and no one wants to deal with the awkwardness of accidental eye contact.
13. Being In Shape Is Cool, But Eating Chocolate Is Cooler
Have you ever told yourself that this would be the year you got into the best shape of your life? For most of us, we plan those things as New Year's resolutions, and after one workout, we remember how much we love sitting down.
While we don't have the body of our dreams yet, round is still considered a shape. Every time you get up and move your body, it should be because you want to, not because you are punishing yourself for eating something.
14. That's A Lot Of Babies
Sex is fun until you have one slip up and end up creating a small human. This is why everyone should practice safe sex unless they are ready to have children. Remember the saying, "no glove, no love," because you don't want to end up with eight babies coming out at once.
You can also avoid an awkward phone call to your fun buddy if you use protection. It would be much better for everyone involved to remember that sex is only fun when you know there are no consequences, so be safe and prepare for what could happen.
15. Never Let An Opportunity Pass You
If you are anything like us, over-thinking tends to get in the way of spontaneity. When an opportunity presents itself, we tend to think about it for too long, and then the moment passes, and the opportunity goes with it. Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and hope that it works out.
Hesitation is a big part of life for people who think about everything they do before they do it. Sometimes thinking about things before doing them is helpful, but most of the time, it makes us miss out on things that would have enhanced our lives.

Why is it that the more sleep you get, the more tired you are? However, when you sleep for just four or five hours, you wake up more refreshed than ever. It makes no sense in our minds, but there is probably some scientific reason behind it.
We wish we could wake up feeling refreshed every morning, but we also enjoy crawling into bed at eight P.M. to get a cool ten hours of sleep. We guess if you get too much of a good thing, it turns into a negative, like too much sleep.
17. When You Lose Half Your Blood Supply While Shaving
Shaving is all fun and games until you come out of the shower looking like someone stabbed you in multiple places. No matter how careful we are, we always end up cutting ourselves because the cheap razors we buy never get a smooth shave.
If you or someone you know always has trouble shaving, we suggest investing in shaving cream or oil and buying good razors. It will save your legs and your blood supply. You might even get silky smooth legs by the end of the shower.
18. Don't Let Self-Doubt Crush Your Dreams
If you haven't compared yourself to someone who does the same thing as you and is younger, then you must have some profound confidence that we are jealous of. People struggle with self-doubt every day, but the key is to ignore others and work hard on your own stuff.
Just because someone is doing the same thing earlier in life doesn't mean you are not as good at your job or passion. Don't let self-doubt crush your dreams because you are just as amazing and talented as anyone else in the industry.
19. When 5 Hours Has Passed And You Have Accomplished One Thing
We used to just 'crastinate, but we got so good we went pro. There are so many days where we just stare at the computer screen instead of getting any actual work done even though we started the day thinking we would be super productive.

What one person finds comfortable might be a serious offense, according to the fashion police. For example, wearing socks and sandals is a crime worth up to 2 years in fashion jail. It's not a cute look unless the sandals are heeled, then it is acceptable according to brands like Gucci and Chanel.
While there are some fashion rules, you should challenge them and wear things that make you feel confident, even if that means wearing socks with sandals. Trends change all the time, so you never know what will come back in style in a few months.

This is a safe space, so we can all admit that we have struggled with cooking at some point in our lives. Even when we have followed a recipe, it doesn't always turn out like the picture. Some people aren't natural-born chefs and struggle in the kitchen.
It could be a simple pasta dish, and just the pressure of making it correctly will cause us to forget how to boil water properly. While some people are cooking five-course meals that would impress professional chefs, the rest of us are swiping through the delivery app for our next meal.

Before we pass judgment on people, we have to remember that we don't know a person's story or what they are struggling with in private. The world would be a much better place if we all tried to be considerate and understanding of others.

If you don't remember because it seems like ages ago, 2016 started off with the news of David Bowie's death. After that, it was like a domino effect of popular celebrities dying, like Alan Rickman, Prince, Muhammad Ali, Gene Wilder, and Nancy Reagan.
Every week it was like another celebrity's death was in the news, and we spent the year mourning our favorite icons. Who knew that a worse year would happen just four years later. We just have to hope and pray that Betty White still has a few good years left in her because we aren't prepared for that tragedy.
26. Birthdays Never Live Up To The Hype
Have you ever felt like your birthday is always overlooked? No matter how hard we try not to have any expectations for our birthdays, we still feel disappointed each year because it is never as great as we want it to be. If you were born on a holiday, you know this struggle.
It's like the universe knows you want your birthday to be a big deal, so it makes another event happen, which is ten times more fun than any birthday plan. Hang in there; next year will be just as bad even though we tell ourselves we will do something grand.
27. Some People Are Over-Sharers
We all know those people who give a 17-page dissertation when you ask them, "What's up." You probably expected a one-word answer or short sentence at most, but they decided to share a diary page with you. It's always awkward because you never know how to respond.
When you expected someone to answer with one word and they share all their inner feelings, you might be caught off-guard. At least you know for the future who understands social cues and who is an over-sharer.

When you get a tattoo for the first time, someone should remind you that it is permanent and will be on your body till you die or have it removed. While some people have many tattoos, others are hesitant because they are nervous they won't like the design in a few years.
Before you get a tattoo, it's essential to make sure you will like the design for the rest of your life, and that it will be in a good spot. If you are getting a word or sentence, make sure to spell check because no one wants to walk around with a misspelled word permanently on their body.

When you let someone borrow your book, and they return it with all the pages bent and stains as if they ran over it with a car. While it might just be a book, it shows that the person has no respect for your things. Sometimes it's a miracle if they even return it.
Some people have no regard for other people's property, making you not want to share your things with them. It might sound silly because we all learned that sharing is caring, but when the other person doesn't care that you are sharing, it's frustrating.
30. Careful What You Wish For
Like wishing for big boobs, you have to be careful when dealing with genies. They will trick you into wishing for one thing without knowing that it will be an outcome you never expected. Those tricky things thought the world would be a better place without the Oh no man, and that isn't kind.
He had no idea the world would be a better place without him, and we can't help but laugh at his mistake. Wishes never workout, and we know this because we have wished for a puppy every year for our birthday, and we have not gotten a puppy yet.
31. Eternal Acne
While dying might be one of our biggest fears, dying with a pimple is even higher on our list because then your ghost form has to walk around with acne forever. That would suck because whenever you meet a new ghost friend, the first thing they will notice is that eternal zit.
No one enjoys having acne while they are alive, so why would you want your ghost self to deal with that also? This is a sign for all of us to drink our water, do our skincare routine, and take care of ourselves so our ghosts will glow.
32. "Please Don't Touch Me"
When you are dancing and living your best life in the club, and suddenly you see someone approaching you out of the corner of your eye. If there were a perfect song for that moment, it would sound like, "Oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no."
It's always when you are just trying to enjoy yourself that someone sees the opportunity come up and grab you from beind. It's a violating feeling, and it would be much more pleasant if they just asked you to dance like a normal human.

When you introduce two of your best friends, and they become such good friends and start hanging out without you. That is just as awkward as when you introduce your friends, hoping they will get along and they could not be more different.
You can hope and pray that they will like each other, but sometimes it is just not meant to be. Friendships can't always be forced because people have to make their own choices, but when they do work, it is so fun, and you can all hang out together.

Traveling always feels like a good idea because it seems like a way to escape all your other problems. However, when you get to the new place, that feeling or problem you were running from is still waiting for you when you get home.
Although it is hard, dealing with problems and feelings, head-on is the only way to get through them. Even moving half-way across the world won't change the feelings we carry around, like an extra suitcase that we have to pay fees for at check-in.

Do you ever feel like any time you have an idea, someone had already done that long before you thought of it? It is challenging to come up with an original idea these days, but it's not impossible. Even if someone has done something already, think of how you can make it even better.
There are many ways to add to people's ideas and create something even more amazing than you thought. While it's easier to get discouraged, you just have to be confident in your thoughts and make them better than anything similar to it.
36. New Years Eve Is Always Disappointing
Just like birthdays, New Year's Eve is always over-hyped. There is always this immense pressure to have plans and find someone to kiss at midnight. Therefore, when your plans don't live up to your expectations, it always feels like a huge letdown.
You don't want to start the year off with a bad attitude, but it's hard not to be disappointed when you thought you would have the best New Year's Eve ever. We tell ourselves that next year it will be better, but it is always the same deal.
37. Contact Lenses Are The Enemy
We don't know about you, but trying to put contact lenses in is the hardest part of our day. No matter what we do, dirt always seems to sneak into the lens while putting it on our eyeballs. Then our eyes start watering, and we have to take them out and repeat the process.
At what point do we give up and wear glasses every day? If you wear lenses, you know the struggle because sometimes you want to go without your glasses but still see everything in front of you. It's like they do it on purpose.
38. It Will Take Time To Change The World
While these comics might not change the world, they make us laugh even when we are having a bad day. Changing the world is going to take a lot more than some funny comics, but if we are all happier, the world will be a better place.
When Alex made these comics, his goal was to make the world better, and that is happening. When people laugh, their days are better, and they make better decisions. In turn, that helps improve the world little by little.

After reading all these "Oh No" comics, you might be tired of seeing the words "oh no." However, Oh No man can't stop saying it even when his child is in danger. How could you not say oh no when someone has a gun to your blob child?
If we see oh no one more time, we will still laugh, but it might not be as funny as the first forty times we read it. Saying, "Oh no," is a gift and a curse, but mostly a curse in this specific situation. We hope baby blob alive and well.
